Gate and fence maintenance in Plano
Maintaining your gate and fence is really important.
Our Texas weather has a significant impact on our gate and fence quality of life, which is why maintenance helps to maintain the wood, iron, and operator in good form.
In this maintenance project, our team began by power washing and cleaning 450 linear feet, which included a three-car garage sliding gate.
The sliding gate required a lot of work.
First, we had to replace a rusty metal section of the frame that was too old.
We cleaned, sanded the frame and posts, primed, and painted.
The gate's track was old and rusty, causing it to lose shape and damage the bottom of the sliding gate pickets.
We removed the broken track, cleaned and scraped the concrete blocks on the track base, and installed a new metal track surrounded by metal edging to keep dirt out of the way.
Broken wood pickets were also being replaced.
After we finished all of the repairs, we stained the gate and fence with a solid Russet color.
The home looks neater and cleaner than it did before, giving the residence a lovely appeal.
